As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and reducing energy use and cost, Henrico County contracted with 2RW to help it identify County facilities where PV installations could drive energy savings.
2RW led a feasibility study to identify viable locations for PV installations. From a preliminary analysis of 18 locations, the County selected three sites (Libbie Mill Library, Western Government Center Parking Deck, and the Mental Health and Developmental Services East Center) for detailed study.

The solar PV feasibility study identified three viable locations in Henrico County for PV installations (Libbie Mill Library, Western Government Center Parking Deck, and the Mental Health East Clinic) and summarized the energy and financial savings potential for each site. To date, Solar PV panels have been installed on Libbie Mill Library and Western Government Center Parking Deck.
