The renovation created a collaborative research environment that brought together multiple engineering and computer science disciplines within a single facility. 2RW provided MEP/FP design and construction administration services, incorporating existing building infrastructure while upgrading HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems to support advanced research activities, improve energy efficiency, and enhance occupant comfort.
2RW provided MEP/FP engineering design and construction administration services for this renovation which combined space for the civil, electrical, mechanical, systems engineering, and computer science departments. The new HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems incorporated existing central air handling equipment and sprinkler mains that were relatively new.
