–  Efficiency and reliability of air handling equipment

–  Cost of maintaining air handling equipment

–  Simplicity of air handling equipment operation for the facility’s staff

2rw also provided cost estimation and value management at the completion of the pre-design process to help guide the University’s capital budget process.

Project Goals

The natatorium was constructed in 1996 as a state-of-the-art facility. Over time, the harsh pool environment degraded the HVAC equipment until there was inadequate air circulation to remove chemical contaminants at the pool’s surface.

Services

2RW designed and implemented improvements to the natatorium environmental conditioning and pool water treatment systems to
Improve natatorium air quality, air distribution, air exchange rate, and outdoor air ventilation.

  • Enhance air handling equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • Reduce the cost of maintaining air handling equipment.
  • Simplify air handling equipment operation for the facility’s staff.
