Crestview Elementary School was originally built in 1954 with renovations in 1956 and 2000. The school needed to be expanded to meet the needs of the growing student population and was due for updates to systems which were at end-of-life.

The renovated school is expected to perform more efficiently than the existing building. High-efficiency boilers will generate hot water which will heat the building in the winter and dehumidify it in the summer. Centralized HVAC units on the roof replace loud window-mounted units within each room. In every element of design the building will serve as a conduit of learning, encouraging a new generation of thoughtful and equipped young adults to take on the challenges of tomorrow’s world.
