The design phase for the innovative Karsh Institute for Democracy at UVA is now underway. This groundbreaking facility will be a dynamic center for learning and collaboration, embracing UVA’s unique ties to democracy’s foundation. 2RW is providing MEP/FP engineering services for this facility, ensuring an optimal learning environment that includes event spaces, a media production area, and more. Aiming for LEED Gold, we’re incorporating energy-efficient systems, improved air quality through displacement ventilation, and effective acoustical treatments.
