Services

2RW provided MEP/FP engineering for these major renovation projects under our MEP term contract with the University. The new spacious and modern locker rooms feature:

  • Open-format lounges, kitchens, and fuel stations
  • State-of-the-art sound systems
  • Film rooms with high-definition projectors and video telestrators
  • New players’ lounges and rest-and-recovery rooms
  • Treatment areas with whirlpools
  • Updated bathrooms with extra-tall private showers and more-efficient fixtures
  • Energy-efficient lighting
Results
  • The new MEP/FP systems in the women’s locker room support architectural enhancements with softer finishes, creating a more-tranquil environment which better supports the program’s new identity.
  • 2RW provided critical institutional knowledge which helped keep the women’s locker room project on schedule and on budget. During this project we leveraged our prior experience on the men’s locker room renovation to:
    • Efficiently identify the correct placement of slab piping on construction documents.
    • Quickly trace deficiencies on the shower testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) reports to a dirty air handler, based on TAB reports from the mirror-image HVAC system in the men’s locker room.
