The Integrated Science Center is a set of interconnected buildings at William & Mary that houses its STEM programs. It has been updated and expanded in several phases over the past decade to provide flexible, interdisciplinary, cutting-edge learning and laboratory spaces. The fourth and final phase, ISC 4, is being built to house the mathematics, computer science, and kinesiology departments and the new design and engineering undergraduate program.
2RW is providing sustainable MEP/FP engineering for this new facility designed to support the University’s STEM program. The building will feature flexible, interdisciplinary classrooms and advanced laboratory spaces, as well as a dedicated data center. The project is currently in design and the final sustainable design approaches will be determined as the project progresses; however, some of the project’s early considerations include:
