UVA SON Sim Lab Earns National Endorsement

The Mary Morton Parsons Clinical Simulation Learning Center at the University of Virginia has been endorsed by the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL). It is one of only 14 simulation labs in the United States recognized for excellence in meeting these standards.

The INACSL has four core standards of simulation that include pre-briefing, debriefing, facilitation, and professional integrity. These standards are designed to ensure that simulation experiences are safe, effective, and meaningful for learners. By excelling at the INACSL’s core standards, The Nursing School’s Sim lab provides its nursing students with an exceptional learning experience that prepares them for real-world clinical practice. This recognition is a testament to the center’s commitment to excellence in nursing education and training through simulation. Learn more about the project.
