Services

2RW provided construction phase commissioning services for this project and developed test procedures to ensure that the HVAC systems were working as intended. All system reviews were conducted using Tracer SC Building Automation System. A number of issues that affected building performance were identified during this process; of those, the most significant was the lack of a re-heat system to control humidity in the labs.

Results

The issues identified during commissioning were corrected through design changes and control system modifications. Since then, the building has been operating efficiently and has maintained a comfortable environment for students and faculty.

2RW has been retained to re-commission the building systems periodically to ensure they continue to operate as intended.
