The city of Manassas Park took a giant step into the future with the construction of their new state-of-the-art Police Station and Emergency Operations Center. This $8,500,000 facility serves as the Emergency Management System dispatch center for fire, rescue and police. It is also designed to be the public safety facility during major catastrophic events or emergencies. Day-to-day work in this 22,000 square foot facility is augmented with an underground sound-proof firing range, a suspect interrogation and processing space, evidence laboratory and storage, an indoor K-9 kennel.
