Madewell’s partnership with Blue Jeans Go Green upcycles old denim into UltraTouch housing insulation. Since its inception, the program has diverted more than 2 million pieces of denim clothing from landfills and manufactured 4 million SF of insulation.
2RW’s Green Team recently organized a denim drive and donated the materials to Blue Jeans Go Green through the Charlottesville Madewell store. Thanks to our sustainability guru, Anna Henry, for spearheading this effort! As engineers and stewards of sustainability, combining recycling and environmentally safe insulation is a perfect match for 2RW’s community giving and sustainability goals.
