2RW joined the project team, faculty, and staff at the June 13th Topping Off Ceremony to watch as the last steel beam was placed on Virginia Tech’s New Upper Quad Residence Hall project. The milestone was also commemorated by having the steel erection crew, construction team, designers, owners, staff, and students sign the beam for posterity.
The new residence hall is scheduled to open in time for the 2024-2025 academic year.
