Three decades ago, 2RW was founded with the singular goal of making a positive impact on our environment and the future by advocating for sustainable building design. We are committed to meeting this goal each and every day with MEP design and energy consulting services that help building owners measurably reduce energy usage. We are proud supporters of the Virginia Energy Efficiency Council (VAEEC) in its similar mission.
On November 29, 2RW was honored to take part in VAEEC’s fall meeting and inaugural awards program. At the event, two of the projects we’ve been proud to participate in were recognized with Virginia Energy Efficiency Leadership Awards.
- Manassas Park Elementary School & Pre-K – First Place, Academic Category. As pictured on the right, Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe (far right) and John Morrill of VAEEC (far left) were on hand to present the award to Bob Crowell of 2RW (second from left) and Bob Moje of VMDO Architects.
- Fontaine Fire Station – Third Place, Local Government Category. Accepting the award were Bob Crowell, Michele Ferri of LeMay Erickson Willcox Architects, and Kristel Riddervold from the City of Charlottesville.
2rw salutes VAEEC’s work in supporting programs, innovation, best practices, and policies that advance energy efficiency in Virginia.
