In case you missed it: Virginia and DC continue to be leaders in green building in the U.S. Virginia is riding a wave of momentum from 2019, having risen in the ranks of Top 10 States for LEED for the third year in a row (based on certified GSF per capita). As a federal district, Washington, DC, doesn’t appear in the Top 10 States list, but it consistently leads the nation in green building. In 2019, the District certified 52.86 SF per resident across 143 projects. 2RW is proud to be a part of this success through our LEED projects in Virginia and D.C.
