LEED Fundamental Commissioning
 

The City of Roanoke hired 2RW to serve as the commissioning authority for the major renovation of “one of the most prominent buildings in Roanoke”-- City Market Building. The building renovation included the modification and upgrade of the existing HVAC systems as well as the installation of new terminal equipment such as fan coil units, blower coil units, and unit heaters.

2RW coordinated and oversaw the commissioning of the existing equipment as well as the new energy-related systems installed on the project. 2RW’s services met the requirements of LEED Energy & Atmosphere Prerequisite 1 – Fundamental Commissioning and also included additional commissioning services that went beyond the LEED Fundamental Commissioning requirements, such as commissioning reviews of design documents and equipment submittals.
