Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) Engineering
This project entailed a partial renovation of Davis Hall, which houses office and classroom space for the College of Science and Technology. The renovation of the building’s lower level was undertaken to accommodate new building components, floor plan re-configurations, and technology infrastructure updates.
Services
2RW provided MEP/FP engineering for this project, which included:
- A new high-efficiency HVAC system, new chiller, chilled and heating water pumps, steam station, and VAV air handler
- Removal of original fire pump (no longer necessary due to water supply upgrades)
- Efficient plumbing fixtures
- Sprinkler and fire alarm systems
- New lighting and advanced lighting controls
- Power systems
- Voice and data systems
- Building automation system (BAS)
- Full BCOM review
